re: Cannith Crafted Starter Gear

Every character should possess some basic gear to improve its efficiency and survivability. We have the crafters and the ressources, you only have to ask!

 

- A common base for all characters includes Fortification, False Life, Featherfalling, Striding and Constituion
- You will also want to boost your main Ability stats.
- Trappers need a set of Rings or Goggles to boost Spot, Search and Disable Device.
- At low level, the Damage Reduction from an Invulnerability Armor is very effective!
- For melee characters, an Acid Weapon of Bleeding will work well against most ennemies you'll encounter. Consider adding an Ooze-beater and an Undead-beater to your arsenal.
- For caster characters, it's worth mentioning that Randomly Generated Weapons, that you'll loot or find on AH, are much more powerful than Cannith Crafted ones of the same level.

- UMD and Spellcraft shards are not craftable.

- Invulnerability gives Damage Reduction 5/magic

- Stability gives +2 (+4,+6) Deflection bonus to AC and +2 (+4,+6) Resistance bonus to Saves for True Neutral Characters. 

- Everbright weapons do not take damage from Oozes and Rust monsters

- Deception weapons give a chance to render target vulnerable to Sneak Attacks

 

 

Calcultating Total Mininum Level for Accessories:
1 shard Refer directly to table Ex: Constitution +2 Necklace, Lvl 3
2 shards Refer to table, add 1 Ex: Featherfalling Ring of Fortification 25%, Lvl 3
 
Calcultating Total Mininum Level for Armors and Weapons:
1 shard Refer to table, subtract 1 Ex: Outfit of Invulnerability, Lvl 4
2 shards Refer directly to table Ex: Holy Mace of Undead Bane, Lvl 6
3 shards Refer to table, add 1 Ex: +1 Acid Sword of Deception, Lvl 4

are you sure about the umd requirement for the holy weapons? you made Z a holy  undead bane staff and he is LN and not high enough UMD when he got it.

Well, it seems some Cannith Crafted weapon are bugged and may bypass the Alignment UMD requirement, or it's been fixed. Or I was perhaps mixing it up with Pure Good.
